Who we are

Njinikom-UK was launched on the 29th of May 2010 in Doncaster by a total of 22 sons and daughters of Njinikom based in the United Kingdom. At its founding, the main aspiration of the group was simple - to cater for the wellbeing of immediate members of the group in view of extending this to others if and when possible.

The focus of the group was to foster a sense of belonging by socializing (having fun) with and helping one another, grounded on the concept that one can only pour from a cup that is full.

Over the years, NJUKA has grown into a strong community of over 40 members and the focus has remained the same - to carter for the well-being of members, create fun memories together, promote the culture of Kom, support development initiatives in Njinikom while creating a feeling of “home away from home” in the UK.
